A few months ago, your IABC Minnesota board gathered to send our fellow members hand-
written cards encouraging all of us to #findyourpossible. Our #findyourpossible endeavor
encourages all of us to get the very most out of your IABC membership – and not be shy about
asking your fellow members for help. Since then, we’ve heard from members looking for
educational resources, connections with other members, and ways to build their careers. It is
exciting to hear all the ways our members find their possible.
As 2023 kicks off, our board has been hard at work finding more ways – some familiar, some
new – to #findyourpossible. Here’s just a taste of what is in store:
January 19: In combination with IABC Great Plains, a session on ESG (Environmental, Social &
Governance) communications and how they are applied. ESG is a growing area more
organizations are embracing to guide their decision-making and how they operate – and they
are increasingly asking their communicators help in shaping how this is discussed. Click here to

February 9: Gift of Communication! ‘Gift’ is one of our most popular events of the year. If you
are into giving back to our non-profit community, this is the event for you. Gift of
Communications pairs non-profits in need of communication expertise with IABC
communicators who provide their expertise to solve their communication challenge. This virtual
event allows you to meet non-profit partners, help solve their communication challenge, and

April 21: News Flash! Save the date – our annual signature event, Convergence Summit, is set
for April 21 and will be hosted by Prime Therapeutics in Eagan. This day of learning brings in
some of our region’s best and brightest communicators together to learn, network and grow.

June 4-7: If learning in an international setting is more your style, IABC International’s annual
conference is June 4-7 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Best of all, your board has negotiated a
